Special Education Teacher

Hello! I am in my 4th year as a special education teacher at Midland. I got my degree in English Literature and minored in art. I grew up in a family that values literature, music, art, and playing sports. After college, I got a short term job tutoring students struggling to learn. I became very interested in finding ways to teach struggling learners so they could reach their fullest potential. I decided to get my teaching license and masters in special education and I have been very thankful to work with so many great students, staff, and families at Midland. In my free time, I love spending time with family and friends, and mountain biking and playing guitar.
